Life is difficult… especially when it comes to me and computers.  My “new” computer… the Compaq that my supporters bought for me last year has died.  Don’t know what happened to it, but I tried to start it up a few days ago and it simply wouldn’t do any more than make a little noise and flash it’s lights.  Thankfully someone from FHUS was here and was able to quickly wisk my computer back to the US.   I will hopefully get it fixed… I’ll keep you posted on that.

In the meantime, I’ve taken back my origional computer– my VAIO, which was being used by one of my coworkers in Zeway. It’s great to be able to have a computer to use, but there are some problems with it.  Somehow the sound and the modem for the internet have been disabled.  It think I’ll be pretty lucky to get these things fixed.  It’s sad because I need my computer for three things: work, movies/music, and the internet.  Now, 2 of the 3 don’t work.  I’m now in addis and will be trying to find a competent computer person to put this computer back in order.  Please pray for me as a wander around town in search of a repair guy, and that he will be wise and not further destroy the computer.
